hehe this is a very old thread but I'll answer... having trouble going to sleep so what the heck :P Also, the movies come out extremely late so all the movie above are quite current. In good company just came out in the cinema actually..
I get free tickets at this cinema where lots of independent/foreign movies are showing (no hollywood movies!) and I have just noticed that you've got quite a few of those movies up there Peache!
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou  does not seem like my type of movie at all.. refuse to watch..
Finding Neverland & Spanglish - mediocre feel-good movies
The Aviator - I actually really enjoyed the movie. Truely got to appreciate Cate Blanchet's acting ability there.. sad to watch a brilliant man's sanity crumbling like that though.. anyways i recommend watching it on dvd now if you haven't watched at the cinema! :)
Closer - I absolutely loved. One of those relationship movies that are quite realistic & with a purpose (As opposed to this movie that i watched a few days ago called, "we don't live here anymore", which i don't quite see the point of it!). Great actors also.
OK has anyone seen "Crash"? The movie's based on LA.. This is a really good movie that I've watched in ages.. I had no expectations before I walked into the movie and came out 100% pleasantly surprised..

Too funny! I totally forgot about this thread.
I was like, "I started a movie thread?"  ...Closer - I absolutely loved. Great actors also. .. Closer is the one I really want to see. I like movies about relationships and how the end and/or work out.

Well, if I try to explain the synopsis, it wouldn't sound very spectacular.. It's not a love story, not a war/historical epic, not a documentory. The central focus of the movie's on how racial differences affect the way people live their life basically.. everyone's life in that movie is intertwined and at the end, you get a big picture.. Anyways, if anyone's willing to take my word and watch it, I promise you won't be disappointed! :D
