Regarding salsa gear, what's your budget range? We have a few places posted that you could use for inspiration but they could be a little pricy. Are you looking for mainly club wear? Any styles you prefer? Let us know...

Lol - this is a little embarassing, but I had a salsera drag me in to a "Forever 21" store with her where she was picking out salsa clothes.

About materials - silk is a bad choice followed by cotton.

Yes, Tj, I discovered "Forever 21" when I was hanging out in Los Angeles a couple years ago. I'm far from 21, but they have some fantastic, SEXY stuff that looks great on me and is also good for dancing. I bought like 10 blouses there! Good prices, too! If you're a hardcore salsera and looking for really sexy items at low, low prices, do a search for "Exotic Dance Wear" an you'll find a lot of realy cute tops and pants, pantsuits & dresses and the prices are unbelieveably cheap. Don't browse this site with your guy or he'll make you buy one of everything (and maybe even a sexy maid outfit)! :lol:

these are the times when it strikes me the most - guys clothes are soooo boring...in general! of course of course, theres some nice and interesting stuff to be found, but in your regular store, but not nearly as much cool stuff as the girls can pick from...its even worse with ballroom style dancing of course...girls get the fancy clothes, guys the boring black suits...wah!

I used to LOVE shopping with my sexy bro'! There were so many chic fashions for men! Spend a little time in the Armani section and you'll see what I mean! Also, lotsa funky stuff from San Francisco, where I'm originally from. I still seek out the off-the-wall guys places and get blazers, shoes & the odd accessory! I have a really cool black jacket that has red chili peppers on it, a GUY'S jacket! It is so cool & one of my faves!
