Hi everyone,

I'm going to the Hawaii Salsa Congress! Please PM me if you're going, I'd really like to meet up with other SFers.

Hey Nicole ... add me on facebook ... its a great event... small but it's a tight knit community filled with a bunch of fun... have a great time out here in Hawaii!!!

BAILA Society indeed didn't make it, AguaDulce. We unfortunately were not able to leave NY and are very sad to miss the event... our flights on Wednesday were cancelled and because of the snowstorm on the east coast no flights are available until Monday (after the event). We spent Wed Thur and early Frid to somehow find a way out of NY but nothing opened up.

We hope to come out to Hawaii as soon as possible since we heard so many beautiful things about the community there.

Aloha.

Aloha.

Welcome to SF, denskat!

We appreciate that you already took the time to reply to this post and wouldn't mind as well if you in the future again find some time and chime in one or another discussion with your knowledge and experience.

You guys were there in spirit. We missed you but we made sure that you guys are ALWAYS welcomed to Hawaii. Everyone understood and things happen but to make light of the situation we all hope to see you guys nonetheless.

On note of the event... there was something magical about this one. There was a level of bonding that seemed very genuine. For a smaller event like this you tend to grow close to all the people who come out to have a great time. But this year ...it was just filled with awesome spirits and aloha.... I can already imagine myself missing all the people who will leave and there might be a possibility it will be several years til we meet again.

I had a great time ... a wonderful...wonderful time at the Hawaii Salsa Festival. It's small but it's worth actually getting to know the many good people who stick around after to socialize and eat dinner with. I doubt I could ever do that at a major congress like La, San Fran.
