DANCING on CLAVE

Ive just been informed by my web guy, that the short vid clip I did is now on line.. just a very brief demo of a side and fwd basic done solo, showing how to dance "on " each click ..didnt show any of the other variations at this time in its application.. its NOT a teaching vid. per se..

Is it just me or is the audio super low. I have every volume (youtube and windows) cranked up and I can be barely hear anything.

BTW - Looks interesting hope to see more soon.

By the way Terence, just to say thank you :) Have been reading the forum threads old and new recently, and your advice, along with many other folks here, is great to learn from and be inspired by.

Where did you get the information about "Maria Montillo" and her daughter, from the Dominican Republic? You wrote they introduced Son in the 1800's.

Research... but, a pretty well known fact among most musicologists and academics .

I really only scratched the surface in the post.. much more I could have written, but I tried to keep it to pertinent facts that related to todays paradigm .

Now if one wishes to go to the original " form " of " Son " that was more folk style, then another lady.. Teodora Gines, brought that concept to Cuba in the 15/1600s .
