Bought a copy of this at the Britfest in Blackpool a couple of weeks ago. Not sure where else it is available though.
Anyway, on with my initial thoughts. I've not had a chance to go through the DVD in too much depth yet.
The DVD is on2 int/adv partnerwork and I really like it. There are 8 different sequences on the DVD and they go through the footwork required in separate sections at the start of the DVD.
The turn patterns themselves are good and there are a number of things I like about them:
The material is good and of the level advertised.
They break down the routines as they would in a workshop and go through them a number of times.
Everything is well explained with all the counts.

I wasn't too keen on the music that went with the demo bit at the end (salsa version of a Backstreet Boys song I think) but it was done well with nice slick editing. Would have been good to see a bit more of Bruju's styling but she does put some in during the turn patterns.

Thanks Brendan - I thought Hacha y Machete gave the best show at Blackpool (I'll admit I didn't see them all :D )

I'd not thought about buying an On2 dvd before now.

When they were here in berlin, they sold them from a DVD Stack, burned DVDs, not pressed...Dont know if there is artwork. For anyone interested in Bruju stzling, she also has a stylig DVD, which is quite cool and she breaks down EVERYTHING. Doesn't mean you can do it in the end, but with lots of practice, maybe!

Music is always complicated when producing a DVD, copyright etc...
