Where do I begin?
Yes it’s that time again when you take your ZR85 out of your box and have no clue whatsoever on what to do. Its simple, just press the power button located next to the letter C in the Canon Strap. Now you want to open your LCD screen so that you can see what you are filming by sliding the open tab on the Left side of the ZR85.
Where’s The Record Button?!?!
The Record button is that metal button on the back of your camera. The toggle switch underneath allows you to switch from manual adjustment to automatic default. It is recommended that unless you are a pro at this to stick with the automatic defaults.
Recording At Night and Other Functions
Recording at night obviously means a recording in an environment that is not as bright to activate this mode simply press the Stop Button. If you want to add some digital effects or want to control your manual or automatic exposure the buttons that were covered by the LCD screen will serve you well.
I Can’t See Billy!
If you can’t see your target that well then use the ZR85’s toggle controls on the top to magnify to a 20x optical zoom.
How do I go back?
Well if you are using your camera in VCR mode and you want to see what you just recorded then its all a matter of pressing the rewind, forward, and pause button to handle where you want to go in your video.
It keeps going and going and going…..it stopped!
Ok besides Energizer batteries nothing keeps on going for ever. Your camera is equipped with a Lithium battery that is set to last 2 hours when charged.
Extras
U can take still photos, create panoramas and the camera comes in with so many features to make ugly people look…. ugly still but with style . The rest comes in software programs.
